Generate the image, then check the color overlaps and important edges. Ask for two named inks, more open space or finer grain if the first result feels busy. Small registration shifts should add character while leaving the subject clear.
Download your chosen result and add any typography in your design editor. If you plan to produce a physical risograph print, take the image to your printer or prepare it separately for their required dimensions, ink choices and separations.
The riso-inspired surface
Two or three main ink colors combine in selected areas to suggest darker mixed tones. This gives a small palette more range without relying on smooth photographic shading. Large, clearly separated forms make those overlaps easier to appreciate.
Fine uneven coverage and halftone-like texture break up the color areas. A light patch can feel softer while a dense patch carries more weight. The treatment builds an illustration with a printed surface, rather than simply adding noise across the original photo.
A slightly offset color edge suggests the character of layered printing. The effect is kept selective so eyes, leaves and object silhouettes remain understandable. You can ask for a cleaner or rougher interpretation in the prompt.

Try an orange grove in coral and cobalt with a restrained yellow accent. Use broad leaves and a small farmhouse as recognizable shapes. Ask for translucent overlaps and a quiet cream sky to balance the denser foreground.
Describe a close portrait with round glasses, a plain jacket and a simple background. Ask for coral highlights and blue shadows with fine grain. A clear face gives the generator room to simplify without losing the main expression.
Start with a cyclist passing a small cafe or a cat sitting beside a plant. Keep storefronts and books unlettered, and leave open space if the final layout needs text. Focus on a few large shapes rather than many tiny details.
